Man Charged Following Fatal Glasgow Motorbike Collision

A 52-year-old man has been charged with road traffic offences after a 74-year-old pedestrian died following a motorbike collision in Glasgow on 12 December last year.

Man Charged After Fatal Motorbike Collision in Glasgow

A man has been charged with road traffic offences following the death of a 74-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a motorbike in Glasgow last year.

The collision occurred on the evening of Friday, 12 December, near the junction of Pollokshaws Road and Queen Square.

The 52-year-old rider of the Triumph Bonneville motorcycle and the female pedestrian were both taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Unfortunately, the woman died nine days later.

Police Scotland stated that a man, aged 52, was arrested and charged earlier this week. A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
