Artemis II Crew Conducts Tests Aboard Orion Spacecraft

NASA astronauts performed various tests aboard the Orion spacecraft after reaching space, following the Artemis II mission launch on Wednesday.

"We forgot how beautiful it is to look down on Earth,"
said astronaut Reid Wiseman, the mission commander.

Alongside Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover and mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen are en route to the Moon.

A NASA official confirmed the crew are

"safe, secure and in great spirits."
