Three people have been arrested following a shooting outside One Four One Bar in Sheffield city centre. Police continue to investigate while several streets and tram services remain closed.

Shooting Incident in Sheffield City Centre

Three individuals have been detained as South Yorkshire Police investigate a shooting that occurred outside a bar in Sheffield city centre.

Authorities reported they responded to calls regarding a shooting outside One Four One Bar on West Street at approximately 02:45 BST on Monday.

The shooting happened outside the One Four One bar in West Street, police said

Police have not yet confirmed whether any injuries resulted from the shooting.

Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

The police stated that two men and one woman arrested in connection with the incident remained in custody for questioning on Monday.

West Street has been closed between Mappin Street and Westfield Terrace as detectives continue their investigation at the scene.

Additionally, Eldon Street, Westhill Lane, and a section of Orange Street have also been closed off.

Transport Disruptions

Public transport in the city centre has been affected, with tram services suspended between Cathedral and Middlewood or Malin Bridge until further notice.

Supertram announced on X that tickets are being accepted by both First and Stagecoach bus services through the affected area.

"Tickets acceptance has been agreed with both First and Stagecoach through the disrupted area," Supertram said.
