Fire at Tata Steel Plant in South Wales
Residents near the Tata Steel facility in Port Talbot, south Wales, have been instructed to remain indoors following a fire outbreak at the plant.
South Wales Police confirmed that emergency services are actively managing the situation at the site. Large smoke plumes are visible from the plant and can be seen throughout the surrounding areas.
Authorities have advised local residents to keep their windows and doors closed to avoid exposure to smoke. Motorists are also urged to avoid the vicinity and seek alternative routes where feasible.

Kellie Evans, who was driving near the fire, described the scene vividly:
"I couldn't see the flames because the sky was so black."
"It was very apocalyptic due to the poor visibility, and many drivers pulled over to look."
