Arrest Made in Connection with Ricky Harris Disappearance
A 41-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the disappearance of Ricky Harris, who has been missing for over two years.
Ricky Harris was last seen on 18 November 2023 in Maes-Y-Deri, Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Despite an "exhaustive" search, his body has not been located.
Details of the Arrest and Ongoing Search
On Friday, South Wales Police announced that a man from Mountain Ash was arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice concerning Harris's disappearance.
Officers are conducting a search at the Phurnacite plant, a smokeless fuel briquetting facility spanning 150 acres, located in Abercwmboi village. The search is expected to take "some time."
The police have informed Harris's family about the recent developments.
