A 14-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murder following the discovery of a girl's body in Blaenau Gwent on Monday night.
The boy, whose identity is withheld for legal reasons, appeared at Newport Magistrates' Court on Friday to confirm his name and address.
The body, found in Duffryn Park in the town of Blaenau, has not been officially identified but is believed to be that of Lilly, a 14-year-old girl reported missing.

The boy remains in custody and is expected to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday.

Jenny Hopkins from the Crown Prosecution Service also warned, "It is extremely important that no communication, comments, or sharing of information online jeopardizes the prosecution process in any way."
