Rescue Efforts Intensify in Venezuela
Rescuers in Venezuela are engaged in a critical race against time as the opportunity to locate survivors diminishes rapidly.
Approximately 2,000 search and rescue personnel have arrived in Venezuela from various countries worldwide, including the UK, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, and Spain.
However, coordinating the deployment of personnel and equipment to the appropriate locations remains a challenging task, according to the BBC's Dan Johnson, reporting from the Colombian town of Cucuta near the Venezuelan border.
In an overnight briefing, Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodríguez expressed optimism regarding the rescue operations.
"I still have faith and hope survivors will be rescued."
