TRNSMT Festival Concludes with Lewis Capaldi Headlining
Scotland's largest music festival, TRNSMT, is set to conclude with Lewis Capaldi as the headline act.
On Sunday, music fans at Glasgow Green experienced bright sunshine, a stark contrast to the heavy rain that affected the festival's opening day.
Attendees enjoyed performances from former Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and Jacob Alon, who was awarded the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year in 2025.
Police Scotland reported 11 arrests during the festival's first two days, including an individual charged with breaching air navigation regulations for flying a drone over the festival grounds.
Other notable performers scheduled for the main stage include singer Amy Macdonald and Irish artist CMAT.
Perrie Edwards expressed her admiration for Scottish audiences, describing them as lively, while fans chanted "no Scotland no party" during her main stage set. She performed a medley of Little Mix's popular songs alongside selections from her solo career.

Glasgow singer Kerr Mercer opened the Main Stage and later shared with BBC Scotland that he was so nervous he forgot the lyrics to his first song.
"I completely forgot the lyrics to the first verse, but it was amazing after that!
Just having people sing my songs back to me was a special feeling. I was here back in 2019 to see Lewis Capaldi headline, so playing the same stage as him today is incredible."
Outside Glasgow Green, vendors adapted to the weather change, switching from selling waterproof ponchos on Friday to sunglasses and bottled water as the sun shone on festival-goers.
Teenage singer Abbie Gordon was the opening act on the BBC Introducing Stage. She emphasized the festival's importance for emerging artists like herself.
"I'm so grateful to have got the chance to play this year. Something like the BBC Introducing stage is so important when you're a young act, it gives you a chance to play in front of a new crowd and people that you probably wouldn't be doing [otherwise].
I haven't done too much live stuff recently, so I'm looking to getting to do more of that this year, because live music is still a great way of connecting with people."
Police Scotland detailed that six people were charged with various offences on the festival's first night, including a 42-year-old accused of flying a drone over the site.
Among the arrests were two related to drug offences, two for assault, and one for a road traffic violation.
On Saturday, five additional arrests were made.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated:
"Five people have been arrested following the second night at TRNSMT on Glasgow Green on Saturday.
Three male youths were arrested and charged in connection with breach of the peace.
A further two people were arrested in connection with a disturbance and issued recorded police warnings.
Another six people were charged in connection with assault and breach of the peace offences."
The festival's Friday also featured a fan zone for the Scotland versus Morocco football match. Organizers, DF Concerts, estimated that approximately 10,000 fans remained after the music to watch the game.
TRNSMT event manager Katt Lingard told BBC Scotland News:
"It felt like the high from seeing your favourite bands rolled into the football really well.
I think it was a really extra special moment for the fans - we had people of all ages coming along and it was a good community feel, united around Scotland."
