"As I drove towards Salen from Glenborrodale I was stopped in my tracks by this stunning reflection of Beinn Resipol in a perfectly calm Loch Sunart," said Richard Castro.

Stephen Montgomery captured two ducks
"performing a synchronised swimming routine"in Airthrey Loch at the University of Stirling.

"There are signs that spring is coming," said Victor Tregubov, who took this photo of a gable-end mural in Govan, Glasgow.

Bill Wright snapped this pair of goosanders on the River Kelvin.

Sue Powis watched the sun try to poke its way through the trees on her way to see the Falls of Bruar in Perthshire.

"Bright day at Inveroran with majestic Stob Ghabar in winter garb," said Gary Stanton.

Gail Steel captured this photo of her dog Cooper overlooking the calm River Clyde at Braehead, Renfrewshire.

Grant McLean said it was a
"crystal clear day"up Ben Vorlich overlooking Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond.

Sam Morris from Greenock was treated to a view of the Northern Lights while staying at Glenbuck Bothy in the Highlands.

"The snowdrops are out at Hill of Tarvit," said Fiona Nairn from Cupar, Fife.

Paul Shaw spotted this otter peering at him in Ardnamurchan.

Ruth Cumming appreciated the burst of colour on a dark night as she crossed Commerce Street in Glasgow.

Valerie Pegler from Crieff loved how the colour of the rocks brightened a wintery frozen landscape at Loch Turret reservoir.

Monica Riden was passing a squirrel feeder near a house in the Galloway Forest when she stopped to watch three red squirrels feeding, and captured one in this pose.

The main building at the University of Glasgow in the sun was snapped by Shanti Nelson.

Steven Neish said it was the first time he had ever had New College Quad at the University of Edinburgh to himself when he snapped this photo on an
"unexpectedly sunny afternoon"on the Mound.

Elena Reid in Nairn felt the pigeon on the branch of the tree at sunrise framed the view of the chimneys perfectly, complete with a golden background.
