Flights Suspended from Manchester to Middle East and India
Flights departing from Manchester Airport to several destinations in the Middle East and India have been suspended due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
Passengers have been advised to expect disruptions as thousands of British holidaymakers remain stranded in the United Arab Emirates.
Flights scheduled to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Doha from Manchester have been halted. Additionally, flights to India, which typically fly over the affected region, have also been suspended.
Regional Conflict and Its Impact on Air Travel
Iran initiated attacks on Gulf states as a response to US and Israeli strikes that commenced early on Saturday.
The grounded flights from Manchester include Emirates services to Dubai and Etihad Airways flights to Abu Dhabi. Qatar Airways flights to Doha have also been suspended, along with Indigo flights to Delhi and Mumbai in India.
