Wimbledon 2026 Day Three Coverage
Welcome to our live coverage of day three at Wimbledon 2026. The complete absence of British players in the top half of both the men’s and women’s singles draws means there are no British competitors in singles matches today. For the English supporters, this does offer the opportunity to watch the England versus DR Congo football match later without the conflict of a second-round Wimbledon match or other commitments. Every cloud has a silver lining. Perhaps this was a strategic move by the players; it might be something the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) considers in its Wimbledon post-event analysis.
However, there is no time to dwell on that now as play is already underway. Naomi Osaka is among those competing early today. Later on, fans can look forward to matches featuring Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka, Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, Mirra Andreeva, Flavio Cobolli, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Daniil Medvedev, and Joao Fonseca, along with many other players.
