Wealdstone Raises Issue Over Sak Hassan's Baller League Participation

National League club Wealdstone has expressed dissatisfaction after one of their players took part in the Baller League without obtaining the club's consent.

Sak Hassan played for Prime FC, a team associated with YouTuber KSI, during Monday night's Baller League event, where he scored in a 7-3 victory against N5 FC.

The 24-year-old midfielder from Somalia has made 25 appearances across all competitions for Wealdstone this season, having joined the club from Hashtag United last summer.

Born in the Netherlands, Hassan developed through the youth academies of Leyton Orient, Queens Park Rangers, and Tottenham Hotspur. He also participated in last year's Baller League representing John Terry's 26ers team.

Wealdstone's Official Statement

In a statement posted on X, Wealdstone confirmed their awareness of Hassan's involvement in the Baller League event.

"We are aware that Sak Hassan, under contract with Wealdstone FC, appeared in this evening's Baller League,"
"The club was not approached for permission for Sak to participate, nor were we made aware of his involvement in advance.
"We will now be following up with both the Baller League and the player directly."
