Glasner's Position at Crystal Palace in Question

Oliver Glasner, who joined Crystal Palace in 2024, faces uncertainty regarding his future as the club's manager following a disappointing sequence of results.

The Austrian coach has already declared his intention to depart the club at the conclusion of his current contract this summer.

However, during Thursday's 1-1 draw against Zrinjski Mostar in the Europa Conference League, some Palace away supporters expressed their dissatisfaction by chanting "we want Glasner out."

According to sources cited by , the club is now reviewing Glasner's role after securing only one victory in their last 15 matches.

During this period, Crystal Palace endured a humiliating defeat to non-league side Macclesfield in the FA Cup and have fallen to within eight points of the relegation zone with 12 games remaining in the season.

'I take responsibility'

Earlier in February, Palace managed a win against rivals Brighton, but they have not won a home game since November.

Prior to Sunday's fixture against Wolves, Glasner commented on the team's current struggles:

"I'm always realistic, and we're not in the best moment right now. I understand, and I take responsibility for everything because I'm responsible for the whole team.
Right now, I'm just not good enough to replace the players we sold. I'm just not good enough to integrate the new players in a way to play the same way like we did, and I'm not good enough that we can cope with the schedule we had.
On the other side, I was good enough to play the best season ever [and] win two trophies.
We are playing a better Premier League season than [in] eight of the last 10 seasons. We play European football, and that is the reality."

Glasner remains the most successful manager in Crystal Palace's history, having secured the FA Cup last season as well as the Community Shield.

Crystal Palace are set to host bottom-placed Wolves on Sunday before the second leg of their Conference League tie with Zrinjski Mostar on Thursday.
