Welcome to the Third ODI Between England and New Zealand
Hello and welcome to the third one-day international between England and New Zealand taking place in Cardiff. Following a narrow victory by just one wicket in Durham last weekend, despite a less than ideal performance in the field once again, England would have been aiming for a similar result but with a more refined and efficient display in Northampton during the week.
Weather Disruptions Impacting Play
Unfortunately, the unpredictable English spring weather halted any play in the second ODI, and today’s match in Cardiff appears to be similarly affected by the Welsh weather conditions. This morning brought a mix of sunshine and showers, leading to a less favorable forecast as seen on the weather radar. Despite this, I will be here to provide updates as they occur.
We were scheduled to have the toss shortly; however, the covers remain firmly in place, and the coin toss has been officially postponed.
Uncertain Outlook for Today's Match
This could turn out to be one of those challenging days weather-wise. Let’s hope we get some cricket amidst the showers.
As always, you are encouraged to share your thoughts and theories via the link on the left side of this page, especially if the rain continues to interrupt play.
