Caroline Dubois secured a victory over Terri Harper at London's Olympia, becoming the unified lightweight world champion. Dubois floored her British rival, who appeared bloodied during the bout.

The first half of the contest was relatively uneventful, but Dubois gained momentum in the sixth round by dropping Harper with a precise jab followed by a left hook.

Harper, from Doncaster, sustained a severe cut caused by a clash of heads in the eighth round. Despite this injury, she demonstrated considerable resilience and continued to engage actively until the final round.

The judges scored the fight unanimously in favor of Dubois with scores of 98-91, 97-92, and 98-91. This victory allowed Dubois to add Harper's WBO belt to her existing WBC title.
