Zack Polanski Issues Apology Over Social Media Post
Zack Polanski has issued an apology after sharing a social media post that criticised the conduct of police officers involved in the arrest of a suspect linked to the Golders Green attack.
The Green Party leader had reposted a message on X alleging that officers "repeatedly and violently kicking a mentally ill man in the head when he was already incapacitated by Taser."
This action generated criticism, including from Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley.
In a statement released on Friday, Polanski expressed regret for his actions, stating that he had "shared a tweet in haste" and acknowledged that social media was "not the appropriate channel" for commenting on police operations.
