Multi-Vehicle Crash on M5 Causes Injuries and Road Closures

Two individuals have sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on the M5 motorway, resulting in partial closure of the road.

The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway between junction 28, which serves the A373 Honiton Road at Cullompton, and junction 29, which connects to the A30 at Exeter, at approximately 11:30 GMT.

Emergency Response and Road Closures

Devon & Cornwall Police confirmed that ambulance and fire service personnel were present at the scene to provide assistance.

The motorway has been closed southbound at junction 28. Additionally, the northbound carriageway is being closed at junction 29 to facilitate the landing of an air ambulance.
