A three-month-old girl has died following a suspected dog attack in Redcar, according to police reports.
Armed officers responded to an address on Hardale Grove, Dormanstown, shortly after 13:30 BST on Thursday amid concerns for a child.
Police Action
Cleveland Police confirmed that they destroyed one dog on the street and another at the property.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury resulting in death. He has since been released on conditional bail.
