Teenager Reenacted Fatal Stabbing at Friend's House
A teenager who murdered a 16-year-old boy demonstrated how he had killed the victim by acting out the stabbing while jumping on a couch at a friend's residence, a trial has heard.
Cole Turley, 18, is also alleged to have concealed a knife in a friend's divan bed following the attack on Kayden Moy at Irvine Beach in May 2025.
Turley admitted to a charge of murder prior to the trial commencing. Jay Stewart, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, whose identity is protected, are currently on trial at the High Court in Glasgow, accused of murder.
They have entered a special defence of incrimination, implicating Turley.
The charge states that Stewart and the 15-year-old, acting in concert with Turley, pursued Moy, causing him to fall to the ground, and then repeatedly stabbed him.
It is alleged that Stewart and the other teenager harboured previous ill-will and malice towards Moy and were members of rival gangs in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.
Friend Describes Rap Song and Reenactment of Attack
Turley's friend, Fraser Wallace, testified that the three teenagers composed a rap song about Moy after being informed that he initially survived the stabbing.
Wallace said Turley appeared "proud" of the killing and "acted out exactly what he did on the beach" to Moy.
"He (Turley) told me that he lunged for Kayden and repeatedly stabbed him.
He jumped on my couch and acted it out in front of me. He lunged on my couch like he was stabbing Kayden. Like he was really proud of it."

Wallace further stated that Turley then took him into his bedroom at his home in East Kilbride, where Turley produced "the biggest knife (he) had ever seen."
He described how Turley lifted the divan bed, cut a hole in its bottom, and hid the knife inside.
Search for Bag and Changing Clothes
The court heard that Wallace, Turley, Stewart, and the 15-year-old then went out to find a bag to carry their blood-stained clothes.
Wallace recounted that Stewart and the 15-year-old entered bushes with a flashlight.
"He said Stewart 'pulled out a massive machete' and then put it back."
Wallace claimed he provided the teenagers with different clothes to wear because "they were cold."
Wallace's Actions and Police Involvement
The witness stated that he later took a taxi alone to a friend's house, claiming he "didn't know what to do."
He made a 999 emergency call, which was played in court, informing the operator about Moy being stabbed and the presence of the three teenagers in his house.
Wallace said he returned home and received a call from the police, which he had to pretend was from his ex-girlfriend.
Armed police subsequently arrived at his front door.
Wallace assumed that Turley, Stewart, and the other teenager "jumped out the window" to escape.
However, when questioned by the advocate depute, he admitted he did not see them actually do so.
Items Found During Police Search
During a search of Wallace's house, police found a baton under a chair and a knife in the freezer.
Wallace claimed to have no knowledge of either item.
The trial, presided over by judge Lord Scott, is ongoing.
