Man Charged Following Belfast Knife Attack

A 30-year-old Sudanese man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a knife attack in north Belfast.

Hadi Alodid, who resides on Duncairn Avenue in north Belfast, appeared via video link from Musgrave police station.

He faces additional charges including possession of a knife in a public place and threats to kill an NHS worker.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Monday night in north Belfast.

A man in his 40s remains hospitalized with serious injuries to his eyes, neck, and back following the attack on Kinnaird Avenue.
