Police Search for Grandson Following Glasgow Woman's Death
Police are actively searching for a man described as "dangerous" in connection with the murder of an 82-year-old woman on a Glasgow street. The man is reportedly the grandson of the victim, according to the BBC.
Elizabeth Colligan was found injured on Cardowan Road in the Carntyne area of Glasgow during the early hours of Saturday. She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.

Her grandson, Grant McKinnon, aged 30, was last seen in the vicinity around 04:00 on the same day. Police Scotland have indicated that officers are pursuing a positive line of inquiry and continue to work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Community Tributes to Elizabeth Colligan
Elizabeth Colligan, affectionately known locally as Betty, was a lollipop lady who was well known in the community. Friends and neighbours on Cardowan Road have paid tribute to her as a "nice wee lady."
One neighbour, Patricia, shared with BBC Scotland News:
"She used to walk the dog and say hello to everybody. She was a friendly wee soul."
Patricia also noted that the street is usually very quiet, making the incident particularly shocking.
Another neighbour, Shaun, described Elizabeth as a "great neighbour."
Several floral tributes have been placed at the scene of the incident. One tribute reads:
"A lollipop woman who served the community, a lovely woman who deserved more."
