Two Teens Identified Following Deaths at Holiday Park

Humberside Police have identified the two teenagers who died at Little Eden Holiday Park, near Bridlington, East Yorkshire. The victims have been named as 17-year-old Ethan Slater and 15-year-old Cherish Bean. Their deaths occurred on Wednesday and are believed to be linked to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Arrests Made in Connection to Deaths

Authorities have arrested two men, aged 33 and 42, on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. Both remain in police custody as investigations continue. The 33-year-old was arrested on Thursday, with police obtaining an extension to detain him for an additional 12 hours. The 42-year-old was also arrested subsequently.

Police Response and Investigation Details

Police received a call expressing concern for safety at the holiday park on Wednesday, prompting their response. A cordon remains in place at the site as the investigation proceeds. Chief Superintendent Matt Peach expressed condolences to the families involved and emphasized the complexity of the ongoing inquiry.

"Our thoughts remain with the loved ones of both teenagers.
This remains a very complex investigation with numerous lines of inquiry being followed up."
