Appeal for Information Following Stabbing in Ayr
Detectives are seeking information after a stabbing incident involving a man in Ayr.
Police responded to a call at approximately 15:30 on Saturday concerning a report of a man stabbed inside a property on Davidson Place in the town.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the 57-year-old victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Authorities have launched extensive inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's injuries.
Detective Constable Stewart Gordon stated:
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to consider if they noticed or saw anything suspicious.
Any small detail could help us, so please pass it on. I'd also ask anyone with dash cam or doorbell recording equipment to check their footage for any images which could assist our investigation."
