Youth Disturbance in Aberdour

Police intervened to separate groups of youths following an incident described as "mass disorder" near the train and bus station in Fife.

Officers responded to reports of young people fighting in Aberdour at approximately 18:00 on Tuesday evening.

Several youths were searched before the groups dispersed. Police Scotland stated that officers will review footage from body-worn cameras as part of their investigation.

Inspector Gordon Stanford addressed the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of the youths' conduct.

"The youths' behaviour would not be tolerated," said Insp Gordon Stanford, adding that those involved in criminal acts would be "traced and held accountable".
