Former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell is scheduled to appear at the High Court in Edinburgh, facing accusations of embezzling £459,000 from the Scottish National Party over a period exceeding 12 years.
Murrell arrived at the court on Monday morning for a preliminary hearing related to the case.

Murrell, who is the estranged husband of former first minister Nicola Sturgeon, is alleged to have misappropriated funds between August 2010 and January 2023.
The charges include accusations that he illicitly purchased luxury goods, jewellery, cosmetics, two cars, and a motorhome using party funds.
