Attack in Wishaw Leaves Man Seriously Injured
A man was subjected to a "terrifying attack" by a masked gang in North Lanarkshire, resulting in serious injuries.
At approximately 22:50 on Wednesday, three assailants, all clad in dark clothing and wearing face masks, assaulted the 37-year-old inside a premises located on Abernethyn Road in Wishaw.

Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, and the victim was transported to hospital for treatment of what have been described as "serious injuries".
Police Investigation Underway
Police have been collecting CCTV footage from the area and are appealing to the public for any information that could assist their investigation.
"This was a terrifying incident for the man involved who sustained significant injuries."
"We are gathering CCTV footage from in and around the area, and I'd appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch."
"Similarly, I'd also ask those with private CCTV, doorbell footage or drivers with dash-cams to please check to see if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation."
These statements were made by Detective Constable David McLaughlin, who is leading the inquiry into the assault.
