Lorry Spills Offal on M6 Causing Delays

A lorry has spilled its load of offal onto the M6 motorway in Staffordshire, resulting in delays of up to 90 minutes for drivers.

Three lanes on the northbound carriageway between junction 14 for Stafford and junction 15 for Stoke-on-Trent have been closed since before 07:00 GMT, according to National Highways (NH).

An NH spokesperson said traffic officers were at the scene, with specialist contractors due to arrive for the clean-up to begin.

Motorists have been advised to allow extra time for journeys in the affected area.
