Sepa officials are currently on-site working to identify the source of the spillage, with investigations ongoing.

Killin Community Council issued a notice on its Facebook page advising residents not to consume tap water until further notice.

"A major contamination incident," the council described the event, adding that water tankers would be deployed to the village to provide a temporary water supply.

Scottish Water has stated that a team is en route to assess and investigate the incident.
