Woman Killed Outside Sheffield Bar
A woman who died after being shot outside a bar in Sheffield city centre was confirmed by police to be an innocent bystander.
The 30-year-old victim was found with serious injuries outside One Four One on West Street at approximately 02:45 BST on Monday and subsequently died in hospital.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Ch Supt Jamie Henderson, representing South Yorkshire Police, stated that the victim, a Sheffield resident, was out celebrating the bank holiday. The police force is "working around the clock" to identify all individuals involved in the incident.
"The victim, from Sheffield, was on a night out to celebrate the bank holiday and the force was 'working around the clock' to ensure everyone involved was identified."
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the shooting. A 30-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were detained near Stockport, Greater Manchester, while a 30-year-old man was arrested in Sheffield. All three remain in police custody.
