Police Incident in Bristol Leads to Evacuations

A street in Bristol has been cordoned off, and residents from several homes evacuated due to an ongoing police incident.

Avon and Somerset Police reported that occupants of multiple properties on Sterncourt Road in Frenchay were asked to leave their homes "as a precaution." A bomb disposal unit is currently present at the scene.

"We would please ask people to avoid the area at this time," officers said.
