Four Arrested in London in Counter-Terrorism Probe Linked to Iran
Four individuals have been detained in London as part of a counter-terrorism investigation connected to Iran, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Authorities arrested one Iranian national and three dual British-Iranian nationals on suspicion of aiding a foreign intelligence service.
The probe concerns the alleged surveillance of locations and persons associated with Jewish communities in London, the Metropolitan Police stated.
Search operations are ongoing at sites in Watford, Barnet, and an address in Wembley.
Specifically, a 40-year-old and a 55-year-old were apprehended at residences in Barnet, a 52-year-old in Watford, and a 22-year-old in Harrow.
Additionally, six other men aged 29, 39, 42, 49, and two aged 20, were arrested at the same Harrow location on suspicion of assisting an offender.
