Suspicious Items Found in Northfield Prompt Evacuations

Several residences have been evacuated in Birmingham following the discovery of "a number of suspicious items" at a property located in Northfield.

Authorities implemented road closures near Hollymoor Way, the location of the concerned property.

Army Explosives Experts Involved

West Midlands Police confirmed that army explosives experts were called in as a precautionary measure.

The police force stated that officers remained present at the scene on Saturday afternoon.

"As a precaution, several homes have been evacuated while searches take place,"

they added.
