Brother of TV Presenter Caroline Flack Found Dead at Home

Paul Flack, Brother of Caroline Flack, Dies at 55

Paul Flack, the brother of television presenter Caroline Flack, was found unresponsive at his residence and later pronounced dead at hospital, six years after Caroline Flack's death.

Paul Flack, aged 55, was discovered at his home on Sandringham Road in Norwich on 21 June. He subsequently died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, according to information presented at an inquest.

The Norfolk Coroners' Court reported that the provisional cause of death was cardiac arrest caused by hanging.

A full inquest into the death of the graphic designer is scheduled for October.

Background on Caroline Flack

Paul Flack was the older brother of Caroline Flack, the former host of Love Island and The X Factor, who was found dead at her home in Stoke Newington, London, on 15 February 2020.

An inquest later concluded that Caroline Flack took her own life at the age of 40. At the time, she was facing trial on charges of assaulting her boyfriend.

The inquest revealed that the day before her death, Caroline Flack learned she would be prosecuted and was concerned about press intrusion.

Her death ignited a public discussion regarding online hate and its impact on mental health.

Both Caroline and Paul Flack were born in London but were raised in Norfolk.
