Ambulance Worker Rearrested

An ambulance worker who was released on bail in relation to the deaths of six adults has been rearrested on suspicion of two additional offences, according to police.

The 35-year-old man from west Wiltshire is now facing two further counts of wilful neglect by a care worker.

Previously, he was arrested on suspicion of six counts of gross negligence manslaughter and four counts of ill-treatment or wilful neglect by a care worker. He remains on conditional bail.

A 60-year-old woman, who was also arrested earlier in connection with the same investigation, continues to be on conditional bail. Both individuals were formerly employed by the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
