Arrest Made Following Barry Stabbing Incident

On Bank Holiday Monday, an 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Barry.

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized due to injuries sustained during the attack on May 25. South Wales Police have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening nor life-changing.

Police Statement and Investigation Update

Senior Detective Inspector Lisa Gore provided an update on the investigation:

"We have arrested a suspect and are not currently seeking anyone else in connection with this incident.
We understand this has caused significant concern, and there will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days to reassure the public."
