Fatal Road Accidents in Donegal, Cork, and Kildare

Gardaí are seeking assistance from the public for any witnesses or dash-cam footage related to three fatal road traffic collisions that occurred over the weekend in counties Donegal, Kildare, and Cork.

On Saturday at approximately 21:10 local time, a man in his 20s died following a two-car collision at Kinnego Cross, Ballymagan, County Donegal.

Earlier that evening, at 20:00 local time, a motorcyclist in his 30s lost his life in a crash involving a jeep on the N20 at Castlewrixon, Ballyhea, County Cork.

Additionally, a motorcyclist in his 50s died in a single-vehicle collision at Killick, Kilcock, County Kildare, around 10:45 local time on the same day.

Coroner Notified and Injuries Reported

Gardaí have confirmed that the coroner has been informed regarding all three fatalities.

Several individuals sustained injuries in two of the incidents. A man in his 20s, along with a teenage boy and girl, were transported to Letterkenny University Hospital for medical treatment; their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

In the County Cork collision, the jeep driver, a man in his 80s, was also taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Public Appeal for Information

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collisions or who has dash-cam footage to contact them.
