New Hosts Announced for Strictly Come Dancing
TV presenter Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and professional dancer Johannes Radebe have been confirmed as the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing by the BBC.
The trio will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who departed from the dance competition last year.
Willis, known for hosting The Voice and Big Brother, will assume Daly's role as the main anchor of the show.
Widdicombe will take over Winkleman's position in the show's former "Clauditorium," while Radebe will serve as a roving reporter, according to the BBC.
Audition Process and Other Presenters
The announcement follows an extensive audition process involving several prominent TV personalities who participated in screen tests.
Among the presenters who took part was Zoe Ball, who later reflected on the experience.
"I had worked through 'the seven stages of grief and rejection' after being told I had missed out," Ball said.
Judges and Dancers Returning
The judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke will all return for the new series launching in the autumn.
However, the BBC confirmed earlier this month that five of the show's professional dancers will not be returning.
Fifteen of the 20 dancers from last year will be back, and they will be joined by fresh top talent from the international dance world, the BBC stated.
