Jack Murray-Bird spotted this Kingfisher hiding in the trees at Figgate Park in Edinburgh.

Jacki Gordon from Glasgow shared a close-up image of a blackbird.

Chris Hutchison observed a bat flying alone in Motherwell.

David Strachan captured a tranquil scene at Loch Venachar, Stirling.

Linda Bolt from St Cyrus, Aberdeenshire, shared a photo of her 14-year-old Shetland sheepdog, Charlie, on "his rock" at Glen Esk, Angus. She said:
"Charlie loves his adventures to Glen Esk, our Happy Place."

Nigel Heath from East Kilbride was fortunate to photograph a newborn calf in Westray, Orkney. He commented:
"It is minutes old - pictured with its proud mother."

Andrew McIntosh shared an image taken from his front garden in Ratho, Edinburgh. He noted:
"It was a rare clear evening at this time of year and I couldn't resist setting up the camera."

Rosie McGeachan enjoyed the Chinese New Year celebrations in Glasgow city centre.

Julie Kornhammer observed a beautiful display of purple crocuses in bloom at Nungate Bridge in Haddington.

Andrew Briggs took a sightseeing trip to Harris and Lewis. He said:
"I'd actually gone looking for eagles, but had no joy. This however made it worthwhile."

Regular contributor Victor Tregubov shared an image of the Wee Hoose on Loch Shin, Lairg.

Karyn Don from Bishopton spotted an animated swan in Barshaw Park, Paisley.

Emma Legge captured a "crow corner" during a walk near Musselburgh.

Lynn Clydesdale submitted a photograph taken by her cousin Doreen while on holiday in Glencoe.

Sophie Blanchard shared a shot of the first spring sunrise in Kirkwall.

Elaine Morrison photographed her parents enjoying the view of the bandstand at Magdalen Green in Dundee.

Graham Christie captured the view overlooking Loch Achtriochtan, near Glencoe.

William Warnock shared an action shot from a snowboarding session in the Cairngorms. He said:
"So far this year is on track to be the best snow season for a several years. Who needs to go abroad when you can snowboard right here in Scotland."

Glenys Norquay participated in a "toad patrol" in Edinburgh. She explained:
"It's toad migration season, when toads leave their winter homes and try to get back to their ancestral ponds for breeding. Toad patrol volunteers from the Lothian Amphibian & Reptile Group help them safely navigate some of the dangerous obstacles - busy roads, high kerbs, drains - in their way."

John McGowan and Alison Cunningham observed a line of stags on a hilltop in Strathvaich in the Highlands.

Walter Baxter captured a ewe and her lamb enjoying the sunshine in Lamberton in the Scottish Borders.

Monica Riden photographed geese flying in formation at Wig Bay, Stranraer after spending the winter on the shores of Loch Ryan.

Caroline McCabe shared an image taken by her husband Kevin while she fed a robin at the River Almond in Perth.

Isla Anderson photographed one of her hens investigating crocuses in Foveran, Aberdeenshire.
