Wembanyama Leads Spurs to 2-1 Series Lead
Victor Wembanyama delivered an outstanding performance as the San Antonio Spurs secured a 2-1 lead in the NBA Conference semi-finals against the Philadelphia 76ers. The France international scored 39 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and blocked five shots in a 115-108 road victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Wembanyama started strong, scoring nine of the Spurs' first 11 points, helping the team establish an early 18-3 lead. However, Minnesota's Anthony Edwards responded with 32 points and 14 rebounds, bringing the game back to a tie at 51-51 by halftime.
In the final quarter, the Spurs held a narrow 106-103 lead with three minutes remaining. Wembanyama's third three-pointer, combined with a series of free throws, enabled the Western Conference's second seed to pull away and secure the win.
Knicks Take Commanding 3-0 Lead Over 76ers
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks moved within one victory of advancing past the Philadelphia 76ers in their Eastern Conference semi-final series. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 33 points in a 108-94 road win, giving New York a 3-0 series advantage.
After trailing by four points in the first quarter, the Knicks reversed momentum to lead 60-52 at halftime. In the fourth quarter, Quentin Grimes hit two three-pointers to narrow the deficit to four points for Philadelphia. However, Brunson, along with Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart, contributed key baskets that helped the Knicks maintain control and secure the victory.

Both best-of-seven series will resume on Sunday. The Knicks aim to close out their series and advance to the Conference final, while the Spurs seek to extend their winning streak to three games.
