Raducanu Withdraws from Wimbledon

British tennis player Emma Raducanu has withdrawn from Wimbledon on the eve of the tournament due to a stress fracture in her lower right leg.

The 23-year-old announced her decision shortly after 22:00 BST on Sunday, approximately seven hours after informing journalists of her intention to compete.

Raducanu, who was seeded 30th, was scheduled to begin her Wimbledon campaign on Monday against Croatia's Antonia Ruzic on Court One.
