Wales Trio to Leave Harlequins

Wales internationals Carys Phillips, Lisa Neumann, and Abbie Fleming will be departing Harlequins at the conclusion of the season. They are part of a group of 25 players exiting the Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) club, which also includes England international Ellie Kildunne.

Hooker Carys Phillips joined Harlequins in November 2023 after Worcester's collapse. Wing Lisa Neumann arrived three months later from Gloucester-Hartpury. While Neumann was a regular starter last season, she has struggled to make a significant impact this term. Lock Abbie Fleming, who joined in the summer of 2024 and was a consistent presence in the pack, has also fallen out of favour.

Other Wales Internationals on the Move

The trio are among several Wales internationals transferring clubs this summer. Bethan Lewis and Kelsey Jones have both left Gloucester-Hartpury, with Lewis moving to Bristol Bears. Additionally, Alisha Joyce, Jasmine Joyce, and Maise Davies have all departed Bristol Bears. The Joyce sisters are returning to Wales to compete in the Celtic Challenge next season.

Additional Notes

Wales full-back Powell has re-signed with Harlequins, maintaining her position within the club.
