St Helens Dominate Catalans Dragons in Challenge Cup Quarter-Final
Tristan Sailor continued his impressive form by scoring 14 points as St Helens delivered a commanding performance against Catalans Dragons in the Challenge Cup quarter-final.
The Australian full-back, who previously amassed 14 points during last week's remarkable Good Friday comeback victory over derby rivals Wigan Warriors, crossed for a first-half try and successfully kicked five goals. Catalans struggled to challenge Paul Rowley's revitalized Saints throughout the match.
Despite injury setbacks early in the game, with Jake Wingfield and Lewis Murphy—who opened the scoring with the first try following an early penalty from Sailor—both forced off within the first 32 minutes, St Helens maintained their momentum.
Sailor added another try, and 19-year-old Jake Davies recorded his first senior try. Second-half tries from Owen Dagnall and George Whitby, who scored twice, further highlighted the disparity between the two teams.
