Team Changes and Leadership
Rhona Lloyd (left) returns to the team, and Helen Nelson will captain Scotland in the absence of the injured Rachel Malcolm.
Blindside flanker Holland Bogan and outside centre Rachel Phillips are set to make their first starts for Scotland as head coach Sione Fukofuka implements seven changes ahead of Saturday's Six Nations match against France in Edinburgh.
Leah Bartlett, Elis Martin, Louise McMillan, Becky Boyd, and Rhona Lloyd also return to the starting XV following Scotland's disappointing 41-14 defeat to Italy.
Recent Performance and Injury Update
Scotland began the tournament with a narrow victory in Wales but suffered a heavy defeat at home to defending champions England. Captain Rachel Malcolm sustained an injury shortly before kick-off in Parma, leading to fly-half Helen Nelson assuming the captaincy once again in her absence.
Starting Lineup Details
Leah Bartlett and Elis Martin join the front row at loosehead prop and hooker positions respectively, while lock Louise McMillan will earn her 60th cap. Number eight Becky Boyd is making her first start of this campaign, and winger Rhona Lloyd returns following completion of concussion protocols.
Uncapped hooker Aicha Sutcliffe is included among the replacements, alongside Rhea Clarke, with both players featuring in their first matchday 23 of the tournament.
