Scotland have announced five changes to their squad following their heavy defeat to England as they prepare to face Italy in the Women's Six Nations on Saturday.
Prop Demi Swan will earn her first start after coming off the bench in both the opening victory against Wales and the subsequent loss to England. Additionally, Eva Donaldson and Rachel McLachlan have been brought into an extensively revised back row.
In the backs, outside centre Lucia Scott and wing Francesca McGhie return to the lineup. Scott is set to make her first international start, while McGhie is included in the starting XV under coach Sione Fukofuka for the first time since recovering from injury.
Rhona Lloyd and Emily Coubrough will miss the match in Parma due to concussion protocols, and Evie Wills is sidelined with an arm injury.
