Scotland Women’s Six Nations Training Squad Features Nine Uncapped Players

Newly appointed head coach Sione Fukofuka has included nine uncapped players in Scotland's Women's Six Nations training squad as preparations intensify for the upcoming tournament.

Among the forwards aiming for their first senior international caps are Holland Bogan of Glasgow Warriors, Emily Coubrough, Poppy Fletcher, Aila Ronald, Imogen Spence, and Aicha Sutcliffe. The backs seeking their debut appearances include Ceitidh Ainsworth, Rianna Darroch, and Hannah Walker.

Returning to the squad are wing Shona Campbell and lock Louise McMillan, both of whom last played for Scotland in 2024. Fly-half Meryl Smith also rejoins the national team following recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Due to injuries, Sarah Bonar and Lisa Thomson are currently unavailable for selection. Meanwhile, 24 players who contributed to Scotland's advancement to the World Cup quarter-finals last year have retained their places in the squad.
