Hull KR Secure Fourth Consecutive Win with Convincing 46-0 Scoreline at Toulouse

Reigning Super League champions Hull KR cruised to a dominant 46-0 victory over Toulouse, marking their fourth consecutive win.

Captain Elliot Minchella opened the scoring after receiving a pass from Jez Litten, giving the Robins an early lead. Rhyse Martin and Dean Hadley extended the advantage shortly before halftime.

After the break, Hull KR further increased their lead with tries from Joe Burgess and Jez Litten.

Peta Hiku celebrated his contract extension with a long-range intercept try. Jai Whitbread and Joe Burgess, who scored his second try of the match, completed the scoring.

The defeat marked Toulouse's sixth consecutive loss in Super League, following a strong start to the year with two wins.

Hull KR's victory elevated them to sixth place in the league table.

Robins Showing Strong Form After Early Season Struggles

This trip to France was a stark contrast to Hull KR's previous visit last month.

Following a 26-20 defeat at Catalans, the Robins had recorded one win and three losses in their first four Super League games after their treble-winning 2025 season.

However, they found their rhythm following that loss and thoroughly outplayed Toulouse.

Minchella scored nine minutes into the game but was denied a quick second try after a video referee review overturned the on-field decision due to failure to ground the ball properly.

Toulouse defended resolutely for 20 minutes, forcing Hull KR into a goalline drop-out, but they did not seriously threaten the try line. Martin capitalized on an error from Olly Ashall-Bott to score, followed by Hadley's try, taking the score to 18-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Burgess scored from a pass by Oliver Gildart, and Litten crossed after Mikey Lewis broke through the Toulouse defense, pushing the score to 30-0.

Hiku, who recently extended his contract through next season, intercepted a pass 30 metres from his own line to score an impressive try. Lewis then set up Whitbread with skillful footwork.

Burgess secured the win with his 12th try of the season.

Hull KR will face Bradford Bulls next Saturday, while Toulouse will play York Knights on Thursday, seeking their first Super League win since 24 February.

Coach Willie Peters Praises Team's Performance and Defense

"I'm really proud of that performance.
It was 6-0 there for a while and we had a try disallowed, but what I liked is we didn't get frustrated by that and we found a way to get through that period.
[One keeping Toulouse to nil] "That's the best part. We haven't had one this year so it was nice to get our first. They're a really good attacking team but we kept them away for long periods and took away their threats.
It was great to have Minnie (Elliot Minchella) back, he provides a lot of energy and leadership."
