Welsh Choir Encourages Reuben Logan to Switch Rugby Allegiance
Presenter Gabby Logan has revealed that a Welsh choir at her father's funeral attempted to persuade her son, Reuben Logan, who plays rugby for Scotland, to consider playing for Wales instead.
Speaking on the SW7 Academy podcast, Logan described how, after "a pint or two," the "fantastic" choir members encouraged Reuben to change his rugby allegiance.
"To be fair to Reuben, he's been Scottish since he was born,"she told the host, former Wales rugby captain Sam Warburton.
Reuben, aged 20, plays in the back row for the Manchester-based Sale Sharks. His father is former Scotland winger Kenny Logan. Gabby Logan noted that Reuben has previously represented England at the under-18 level, which made his father feel "uncomfortable."

Family Heritage and Funeral Attendance
Gabby Logan's father, Terry Yorath, a former Wales football legend, passed away in January after a brief illness.
"I'm very proud of my Welsh heritage and recently we lost my dad,"she said.
She added that many Welsh people attended the funeral service, including a choir of 50 singers from Cardiff. After having a few drinks, the choir members engaged with Reuben, asking if he would consider switching his rugby allegiance to Wales.
"We had a lot of Welsh people at the service and a fantastic choir came up from Cardiff and there was 50 of them and they'd had a pint or two and were asking Reuben if he'd consider switching allegiances."
Reuben's Rugby Career and Family Dynamics
Regarding Reuben's debut for England's under-18 team, Gabby Logan shared an anecdote about Kenny Logan's reaction.
"Kenny was not quite sure how to cheer for him that day.
He used to just shout, 'come on Reuben' and I'm like, 'you can't just say come on Reuben' and he was like, 'I can't say come on England'."
