Former England captain Courtney Lawes, who has earned 84 caps, has announced that he is "officially un-retiring from international duty." The 37-year-old second row expressed his desire to represent England again following his signing with Sale Sharks for the 2026-27 season.

Lawes enjoyed a distinguished 14-year career with England, during which he won three Six Nations Championships and played in the 2019 World Cup final before retiring from international rugby in 2023.
