Charnley and Hanley Shine as Leigh Leopards Dominate Hull FC
Leigh Leopards wing Josh Charnley delivered an outstanding performance by scoring three tries against Hull FC, moving him closer to Ryan Hall's Super League try-scoring record.

Charnley’s hat-trick brought his total to 269 Super League tries, just two shy of Hall’s record of 271. The veteran winger’s finishing ability was on full display throughout the match.
However, it was 24-year-old centre Umyla Hanley who delivered a standout performance at Leigh Sports Village. Hanley, son of Wigan and league legend Ellery Hanley, impressed with his pace and vision, contributing three assists, scoring a try himself, and playing a key role in another try.
Despite trailing 6-4 after a cautious first 25 minutes, Hanley’s creativity combined with Charnley’s clinical finishing helped Leigh Leopards score nine tries, securing their largest victory of the season.
