London Pulse Secure Narrow Extra-Time Win Over LexisNexis Dragons
London Pulse claimed a 67-66 victory against LexisNexis Dragons in the Netball Super League after the match extended into extra time. The third-placed Pulse and the fifth-placed Dragons were tied at 56-56 at the end of regular time.
Kamogelo Maseko scored the decisive goal with one minute remaining in the extra period, enabling Pulse to close out the match. Liv Tchine led Pulse’s scoring with 37 goals, while Maseko contributed 16.

Other Netball Super League Fixtures
In another fixture on Sunday, Birmingham Panthers secured only their second win of the season by narrowly defeating London Mavericks 52-51. Despite taking fewer shots than their sixth-placed opponents, Panthers moved off the bottom of the table. Betsy Creak was the top scorer for Panthers with 31 goals.
NIC Leeds Rhinos dropped to the bottom of the standings following a 79-55 defeat to Loughborough Lightning on Saturday. Samantha Wallace-Joseph scored 34 goals for Lightning, who currently hold second place in the league.
On Friday, Nottingham Forest, who had clinched the fourth and final play-off spot the previous weekend, suffered a 78-51 loss to league leaders AO Manchester Thunder. Forest’s Rolene Streutker was the top scorer of the game with 30 goals. However, Thunder’s Eleanor Cardwell, Lois Pearson, and Sophie Fawns contributed 25, 17, and 12 goals respectively, securing the win for the leaders.
